Where is the conference?
BuildingEnergy NYC 2019 will take place at the Convene at Old Slip Conference Center (32 Old Slip, New York, NY 10005) in NYC's Financial District. View public transportation info and directions here or Citi Bike information here.

Where can I park?
If you’re not able to take public transportation, Convene recommends the following options for parking:

Is the venue handicapped accessible?
Yes. The Convene Old Slip Conference Center is handicap accessible.

What does it cost to attend?
The sooner you register, the less it costs. You might also qualify for special rates for students, emerging professionals, and for staff of non-profit organizations and government agencies. Please see the pricing page for details.

What is your refund policy?
We are not able to offer refunds for BuildingEnergy NYC registrations.

How do I request a press pass?
Press passes are not available for BuildingEnergy NYC. If you are interested in a pre-event promotional partnership, please contact Jenny Goldberg, Marketing Manager, at jgoldberg@nesea.org by August 15, 2019.

Do I have to pick which sessions I plan to attend prior to the conference?
No. With a conference pass you may attend any session you wish. A few sessions will have limited seating.

Can I get CEUs for attending?
Yes. CEUs offered will include AIA, BPI, and GBCI. Check back for details soon.
All attendees receive a certificate of attendance to self-report hours to other accrediting organizations.

Will there be food?
Yes. Your conference registration includes a continental breakfast, snacks and refreshments throughout the day, a full lunch, and both an opening and closing reception with complimentary beer and wine.

What happens on Wednesday?
On Wednesday, September 25 from 5:30pm-7:30pm, all conference pass holders are invited to the Opening Reception sponsored by Daikin at their Solutions Plaza. Join us for hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks, and a room full of the smartest, most well-connected people.

Will there be a coat/bag check?
An unstaffed coat and bag closet will be available. NESEA is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Will a mother's room be available?
If you require a mother's room, please visit the concierge or registration desk on site. A private space can be made available as well as a cooler.
