Bensonwood, a design-build company located in Walpole, NH, seeks an energetic associate to join the team as an Administrative Assistant to the Project Management Team which is comprised of eight (8) Project Managers.  

Bensonwood is a national leader and innovator in the design and building of timber frame, hybrid, and panelized homes as well as light commercial projects. The company has a forty-year history of building unique residential and commercial projects throughout the US. Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant role is a full-time role located in our Walpole, NH facility and will report to the Project Management Team Leader.  As part of the Project Management Team, the Administrative Assistant will assist with the successful execution of all projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of client contracts and vendor subcontracts
  • Communicating with vendors and subcontractors
  • Processing/approving vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assisting in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Communicate with in-house teams and resources on behalf of specific projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The polite, courteous and tactful manner with vendors, clients, company associates and the public (both spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google applications
  • Proficiency in Database tools 
  • Experience with, or the ability to learn, accounting software (preferably Sage 100 Contractor)

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be based on skill level and experience with anticipated hourly wage range between $15-20 per hour
