ReVision Energy is looking for a Legal, Financing & Development Analyst to join our team in this role based out of our South Portland ME location. This is an ideal role for recent college grads or those looking to enter the field of renewable energy.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The primary responsibility of the Legal, Financing & Development Analyst is to support the major functions of the Legal, Financing and Development (LFD) Division. ReVision Energy’s LFD Division is responsible for large commercial and utility scale project development, developing financing vehicles for our clients to support ReVision’s overall sales organization, providing project-based and other companywide sales and legal support, and assisting our Asset Management and O&M Division. This position will work directly with senior leadership, LFD Division and Sales Leadership Team (SLT).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains financial modeling tools to support the Commercial and Institutional (C&I) sales team.
  • Trains C&I sales team on new and existing financing products, energy policies, and markets.
  • Provides customer-facing deal-closing support to C&I sales team, specifically as it relates to explaining project cash flow and project financing options.
  • Populates form contracts with technical design specifications and negotiated commercial terms; coordinates across sales, engineering and legal teams as necessary to ensure contract accuracy and quality;
  • Coordinates, distributes and reviews signatures for transactional closing documents; manages project files to ensure accuracy and completeness; creates and maintains on-line project data rooms; and manages various other transactional closing responsibilities - all in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment.
  • Architects, implements and executes Asset Management process, including system monitoring, REC Management, energy billing, O&M, annual filings, cost accounting, insurance.
  • Directs LFD Division’s RFP response program, including evaluation of companywide RFP opportunities, measurement of RFP opportunities against scoring criteria, selection of those to which ReVision will respond and coordination of response, calling on engineering and finance to provide required supporting materials.

QUALIFICATIONS (required):

  • Highly organized; must have ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Advanced competence with computer-based programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics, and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of energy project financing, policies, and electricity markets.
