El Hadji Niang
El Hadji Niang is an Energy Engineer in AEA’s New York office. El Hadji is AEA’s lead engineer providing technical services to downstate New York Weatherization Assistance Program subgrantees, and energy consulting to existing buildings under NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program. He also provides engineering services for Local Law 87 compliance projects. El Hadji collects and analyzes building data, generating energy reduction plans that include scope of work, economic analyses, and prepares specifications for heating system upgrades and replacements incorporating high efficiency technologies, and coordinates with project teams for their implementation, inspection, and close out. He also reviews audits prepared by others to ensure their conformance with technical requirements and program rules.
El earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology from New York Institute of Technology. He also holds an A.A.S. in Industrial Technology Computer and Network Technology from Technical Career Institutes of Technology and D.U.T. University Degree in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Ecole Superieur Polytechnique (ESP) Dakar, Senegal.
