This is a small house design that is modular capable. The goal is to produce modular net zero capable housing. A new modular slab on grade highly insulated foundation is proposed where the house is delivered on site and concrete is placed in factory formed grade beam, through the use of a concrete pump.

Materials:
2x8 wood frame walls two foot on center spacing, with one inch of ridgid insulation on outside to reduce conductive losses. Spray foam insulation to R 40 at least. Wood studs are locally milled full size.

a very simple shape. A series of spaces surrounding entry doors to offer a vestibule effect to shut down losses at door at night or create a buffer.
