The final Pro Tour of 2018 featured the first stage of a planned 331-unit project in East Boston, designed for LEED Platinum certification.

The event was hosted by ICON Architecture and showcased a large-scale new construction project: a mix of residential and community buildings ranging in height from two-to-five stories in a combination of townhouses and midrises.  In addition to learning about the design and construction strategies, attendees of this tour learned about the history of the site and the creation of new open spaces to improve pedestrian and bicycle connections across the site.

This new, LEED Platinum-certified project in Orient Heights will eventually include 331 units of affordable housing, a new community center and management office, a new public park, and significant connectivity improvements and enhancements that will improve circulation, safety, and access for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
