Charlotte Ancel

Director of Strategic Development, Eversource

Charlotte Ancel is the Director of Strategic Development at Eversource Energy, a publicly traded, Fortune 500 energy company serving 4 million electric, gas, and water customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Charlotte leads Eversource’s electric vehicle, storage, and other clean energy development and policy initiatives. She was previous Vice President of Power Supply and General Counsel at Green Mountain Power where she led the power supply, regulatory, legal, and project development teams. In that time, Charlotte’s team increased the Green Mountain Power supply portfolio from 20% to 60% renewable. She also led the construction of a fleet of low cost solar farms for customers, the acquisition of a fleet of small hydro plants, and obtained regulatory approval for several clean energy transformation initiatives. Charlotte was previously a partner at the law firm of Sheehey Furlong & Behm in Burlington, Vermont where she came of age working on permitting of a 63 MW wind project and various solar and other generation projects. She is a graduate of Boston College and University of New Hampshire Law School, from which she graduated first in her class and was Editor in Chief of the Law Review. Charlotte previously served as President of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Chittenden County and was appointed by Governor Peter Shumlin to chair Vermont’s Blue Ribbon Commission on high quality, affordable childhood care.

Anthony Clark

Associate Director, Commercial, Industrial & Institutional Programs, Connecticut Green Bank

Anthony Clark is the Associate Director for Commercial, Industrial & Institutional programs at the Connecticut Green Bank. He is responsible for new product development for CI&I customers and helps lead the Green Bank’s efforts related to high-performance new buildings, energy storage and Grid 2.0. Earlier in his career, Anthony worked on global operations and environmental strategies at General Electric and energy resilience at the New York City Housing Authority. Anthony holds an MBA and Master’s of Environmental Science focused on clean energy finance and sustainable design.

Polly Shaw

Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Communications, Stem

As VP of Regulatory Affairs and Communications, Polly is responsible for expanding and leading Stem’s regulatory affairs and communications efforts. She has 24 years of clean, efficient energy policy experience in the U.S. and China. Formerly VP of External Affairs at SunEdison, she managed a team that helped win a range of supportive policies, including long-term extensions of the federal Investment Tax Credit, two 50% renewable portfolio standards, favorable net metering rules, and other policies. Previously, she was Senior Director of External Relations at Suntech America, and earlier Senior Regulatory Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission where she managed the $2.2 billion California Solar Incentive program. Polly earlier served as a Program Officer at the Energy Foundation, and provided consulting support for EPA greenhouse gas programs while at ICF. She is on the board of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council and California Energy Storage Alliance, and has served on the board of the Solar Energy Industries Association and the Large-scale Solar Association. Polly holds a BA from Tufts University, a Certificate in Chinese Law from the University of London, and speaks English, French, Chinese and basic Spanish.

Caleb Waugh

Head of Analytics - Energy Storage, Lockheed Martin Energy

Caleb Waugh leads energy storage business analytics at Lockheed Martin Energy where he applies advanced analytics to guide market strategy, business development and product design. As part of his role he oversees the design and implementation of high-fidelity techno-economic-financial models and algorithms to evaluate emerging energy technologies and business opportunities in distributed, wholesale market and microgrid applications. Key focus areas include project financial valuation, renewables integration, distributed asset integration, value stacking optimization, risk assessment and total cost of ownership benchmarking for Lockheed Martin's GridStar™ Lithium and Flow battery products.

Previously, Caleb held an internal advisory role with Lockheed Martin’s CTO’s office supporting the VP of Technology and Innovation incubating and developing early-stage technology investments to drive new growth opportunities for the corporation.

Caleb holds dual graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Plasma Physics and Technology and Policy and has published/presented in many leading journals and conferences.

Audrey Lee

Vice President, Energy Services, Sunrun

Audrey deploys and aggregates home solar, batteries, and other energy services to serve residential customers, utilities, and grid operators in creating a more affordable, clean, reliable electricity grid. Audrey also serves on the NIST Smart Grid Advisory Committee. Previously, Audrey was VP of Analytics & Design at Advanced Microgrid Solutions, where she built the analytics and operations platform to optimize a 50 MW fleet of customer-sited batteries as a virtual power plant in Southern California after the closure of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. This resulted in Series A and B corporate funding and a $200 million project finance raise – the largest dedicated energy storage finance vehicle at the time. Prior to that, Audrey led policy and analysis at the CA Public Utilities Commission President’s office, Harvard University, U.S. Department of Energy and the International Energy Agency. She holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University. At home she builds forts and Snap Circuits with her two children.

Hannah Muller

Director of Public Policy, Clearway

Hannah is Director of Public Policy at Clearway Energy, one of the nation’s largest owner-operators of renewable energy projects including solar and wind, and the leading provider of community solar. Hannah serves as Chair of the Board of the Coalition for Community Solar Access, the national trade association for community solar. She was previously Vice President of Policy & Regulatory Affairs at Clean Energy Collective, the company that pioneered the concept of community solar in 2009. Prior to entering the private sector, Hannah spent 3 years at the advocacy group Vote Solar, where she led campaigns to advance solar in the southeast and to expand community solar nationwide. Hannah also spent 4 years at the U.S. Department of Energy solar office, where she managed the Solar America Cities program to jumpstart solar growth in 25 major U.S. Cities. Hannah holds degrees in Environmental Policy and Political Economy from UC Santa Barbara and Clark University. She is based in upstate New York.
