Project Drawdown: 100 Substantive Solutions to Reverse Climate Change

In 2017, environmentalist, author and activist Paul Hawken published the book Drawdown. He brought together two hundred of the world’s leading scientists and researchers to identify, measure, and model one hundred substantive solutions to reduce emissions or sequester carbon from the atmosphere. The solutions are arranged in order of impact with detailed climate and financial models for each. We will explore some of these solutions including presenter Kent Hicks’ upcoming journey to Ethiopia to focus on girls’ education, as its order of impact is number six on the list.
