Sustainable Comfort, Inc. (SCI) is a Worcester, Massachusetts based green building and energy efficiency consulting, construction, development and property management firm with expertise in multifamily housing. SCI specializes in green building practices throughout our business units.

Better Construction, Lower Impacts
Our construction team takes the principles from the green building practices our consultants advise on, and uses them on the buildings we construct and renovate. Each of our buildings gets top-notch safety upgrades, low-flow water fixtures, high-efficiency heating, cooling, and domestic hot water equipment, new windows, and air sealing so that moisture, pests, and energy are not exchanged between apartments.
The development team reimagines neighborhoods by designing for the needs of today’s demographic, engineering for energy efficiency, and renovating for longevity—all without sacrificing the historic charm. Our integrated approach to design, engineering, construction, and management gives us control of every aspect of the project lifecycle.

After years of personally living in multifamily buildings and seeing the business of property management, the team at SCI knew that there was a better way. By using the same focus, responsiveness, and quality that we use for our other project types we have set out to change expectations of property management.
