New Venue for BuildingEnergy NYC 2019!

We are excited to announce that BuildingEnergy NYC 2019 will be held at the Convene at 32 Old Slip Conference Center in NYC's Financial District on Thursday, September 26. This new venue offers upgraded amenities and will allow all sessions and the trade show to be held on one floor (no more stairs!), which we think will make the conference experience for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors more convenient, valuable, and fun.

Only 19 Exhibit Tables Left

While we expect the same number of conference attendees as in previous years, we will have a smaller, more intimate trade show floor, with tables for just 25 exhibitors and sponsors. This opportunity for more exclusive exposure and interaction with attendees means that trade show tables will sell out quickly (only 19 are left). Reserve your table by contacting Miriam Aylward at maylward@nesea.org or (413) 774-6051 ext. 14.

Thank You to All Who Submitted Session Proposals

Thanks to all who submitted conference session proposals for BuildingEnergy NYC 2019. Our stellar, NESEA-Member Content Committee will be working to distill these proposals into 16 final sessions over the next few months.

A Note from Interim Executive Director Miriam Aylward

Greetings from NESEA!

I’ve been wearing my new Interim Executive Director hat for two months now. It's been a pleasure interacting with our members, Board, and community in this new capacity, while also working closely with our NESEA Staff to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and deliver our quality programming, events, and resources throughout the region.

It was wonderful to see so many members of our community at BuildingEnergy Boston. We are still receiving overwhelming positive feedback about our keynote presentation, which continues to inform and inspire our community and beyond!

Our 2019 BuildingEnergy Pro Tour series is off to a strong start, and we are pleased to be offering our first NYC Pro Tour series, featuring four diverse projects within the city.

The NESEA Staff team is evolving. We are excited to be utilizing talent from within and also bringing new faces onto our team, as we continue the work of fulfilling our mission.

Our Board of Directors will be holding their annual retreat next month, and we’re working closely on planning and strategy for the new fiscal year and beyond.

You are the reason NESEA exists, and we want to hear from you! Please reach out to me with your questions and ideas.

I hope to see you at a NESEA event soon!

Sincerely,

Miriam Aylward, NESEA Interim Executive Director
