ABOUT THE POSITION:

 

The Operations and Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and expanding the Operations and Maintenance group in ReVision’s Service division which focuses exclusively on our Commercials and Institutional clients. The OMM will work closely with the VP of Service to drive strategic planning and business development for the division. This role is expected to interact with and support internal stakeholders by organizing department priorities, supporting team growth and development while driving ongoing departmental initiatives. The role will also interact with external stakeholders through business development efforts with new and existing customers to drive continued growth and expansion of our O&M team and services offerings throughout Northern New England. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Departmental Strategy and Support
  • Develop and execute departmental strategy and budget,
  • Support department personnel by performing staff performance evaluations
  • Identify, track, update, and report monthly department KPIs,
  • Maintain and improve quoting methods and tools
  • Provide O&M cost estimates and scopes of work on a per project and portfolio basis 
  • Drive ongoing enhancement and development of sales and operations processes, tools, and processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal project hand-off meetings upon contract execution,
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to support EPC projects through warranty period and with commissioning and capacity testing services
  • Develop and maintain feedback loops to share lessons identified in O+M inspections with Sales, Engineering and Operational teams
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to relevant functional groups
  • Identify and implement, new technologies, tools, processes or systems to improve service offerings or departmental efficiency 
  • Manage, support, train and expand commercial O+M technician team
  • Work closely with Asset Management Team to assure customer and investor obligations and expectations are being exceeded 

 

Business Development

  • Collect and review relevant system documentation,
  • Work with commercial sales team members to provide support for O+M quotes, proposals and deal closing
  • Present to prospective O&M clients,
  • Manage multiple client relationships in various stages of development,
  • Prospect for and qualify leads through initial client consultations,
  • Negotiate and execute O&M contracts with support and approval of Legal Counsel, Insurance Provider, Executive Team, and O&M Operations Team,
  • Resolves customer issues or disputes to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes

 

QUALIFICATIONS (required):

  • Must have an advanced understanding of commercial PV system design, installation and O+M,
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to set clear expectations,
  • Basic understanding of NEC code and commercial building standards,
  • General construction understandings, i.e., ability to read, understand electrical and structural plans - reading/interpreting blueprints, & field layouts,
  • Must maintain expertise on new industry products, applications, and system designs,
  • Must be highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities,

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (desired but not required):

  • Solar Project Management, Engineering or Installation experience
  • NABCEP or IREC Certifications
