New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) is pleased to announce its fourth annual panel discussion in the "Women Shaping the Agenda” series. This year's event will center on “New England’s Climate Readiness: Diverse Voices on Adaptation and Resilience.” The event will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the University of Massachusetts Lowell Inn & Conference Center.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Keynote Speaker, Katie Theoharides, Assistant Secretary of Climate Change, Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs,

The panel discussion will be Moderated by Penni McLean-Conner, Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President of Customer Group, Eversource Energy (2016 NEWIEE Achievement Awardee)

Panelists include:

· Alison Brizius, Director of Climate and Environmental Planning, City of Boston

· Elizabeth Turnbull Henry, President, Environmental League of Massachusetts

· Katherine Kemen, Program Manager, Emergency Preparedness, Partners HeathCare System

· Ellen Miller, Vice President, Projects, AVANGRID Networks

Please join us at 5:00 PM for a welcome reception with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and networking. The speakers and discussion will kick-off at 6:00 PM and will be followed by more networking until 8:30 PM.

Tickets are $35 members / $55 non-members.

What is the refund policy?

Please note that we will be unable to give refunds for tickets after 5 PM on Wednesday July 25th.

May I pay for my ticket by check, instead of online?

Please make your check out to "NEWIEE". Include information on how many tickets you would like to purchase and the name, title, company, and email address(es) of the person/people using the tickets. Mail to P.O. Box 374, Amesbury, MA 01913. Once your payment is received, we will enter the names and ticket quantities for your purchase into Eventbrite and send you an email confirmation. Please allow 10 days for processing.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Tickets may not be available at the door as we expect to sell out.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, your registration/ticket is transferrable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you are not required to bring a ticket with you.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

It is fine if you are coming in place of someone and your name does not match the original attendee who purchased the ticket. Please notify us in advance so that we can produce a new name tag.

What is the attire?

Business casual.
