General Information

Sustainable Comfort, Inc. (SCI) is a Worcester, Massachusetts based green building firm with expertise in multifamily housing. SCI specializes in Deep Energy Retrofits of existing structures as well as new builds designed to the ENERGY STAR Homes, LEED for Homes or Passive House standards, especially when integrated with sustainably minded urban renovation and development.

Key Activities:

·       Regularly research, plan and execute small to medium sized general construction projects ($10,000 - $1,000,000 in volume).

·       Frequently communicate with building residents, site personnel and company customers on progress, using a combination of verbal, written and electronic communications.

·       Select and manage subcontractors as required.

·       Work in a fast paced, deadline and budget driven environment to ensure work gets out the door on time.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

·       Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction related field, or equivalent on the job experience.

·       3-5 Five years of experience in project management.

·       Prior Green Building or Deep Energy Retrofit Experience preferred.

·       License to operate a motor vehicle, clean driving record.

·       Possess a professional and positive demeanor in dealing with clients and team members.

·       Passion and patience for doing things correctly. Interest in green building / sustainability.

·       Must be OSHA 10 certified, or able to obtain certification within 10 business days of employment (SCI will pay any certification costs).
