LEED v4 in New York City

This session combines experts in LEED New Construction, LEED Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance, and LEED for Homes Multifamily Midrise to get the BuildingEnergy audience ready to succeed with LEED v4. In the first segment, presenters will describe the opportunities and challenges of LEED v4 for large scale new construction projects in New York City.  The session will examine insights from active projects focusing on lessons learned and key steps in planning. The second segment will describe how NYC's LEED for Homes projects of various shapes and sizes can make the most of v4 changes. The final section will describe how Local Law 87 sets the stage for LEED-EBOM, and how NYC building owners can use EBOM certification for increased market value, tenant retention, and further operational savings.
