Kaplan Thompson Architects First in Maine to be Awarded JUST Label
Kaplan Thompson Architects is the first company in the state of Maine to be awarded a JUST label. The JUST Program, an initiative from the International Living Future Institute, is a voluntary transparency platform for organizations to disclose information about how they treat their employees and where they make financial and community investments.
KTA joins a growing list of more than 80 JUST organizations throughout the country. Obtaining the JUST label required a careful review of new and existing firm policies and practices to determine how the company measured up across 22 indicator metrics in six categories: diversity, equity, safety, worker benefit, local benefit, and stewardship.

New Energy News Source for the Northeast
The Energy News Network is a nonprofit news site dedicated to keeping stakeholders, policymakers, and citizens informed of the important changes taking place in the transition to a clean energy system. Launched in 2010 as Midwest Energy News, ENN now offers four regional services including Northeast Energy News, which was added in 2018.
