Time Parameters of Position:

• Days of the week: Weekdays - Generally 8:30-5
• Time each day: 30-40 hours a week
• Tentative start and end dates: Currently there is no beginning or end date for this position
• Work is often outdoors so the schedule can be weather dependant

Qualifications, skills, and characteristics requested in the applicant:

• We are looking for an an individual who is responsible, dependable, has good time management and communication skills, and can work well on their own. This position is for construction work so applicant will need to have familiarity with most types of construction tools and be capable of lifting heavy object and comfortable one ladder and other high places.
• Applicant should be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and have a working phone number and email address he/she checks frequently. As an employee one will need to be able to keep track of daily hours on Google Sheets. Employees are also expected to communicate several times each week via phone and email.

Example Job Tasks:

• Digging holes for footing
• Rough framing
• Installing plywood or 1x sheathing
• Installing windows and doors
• Siding
• Insulating walls, roofs and crawl spaces
• Cleaning up of job site

Training:

• New Employees will be given safety briefing at start of internship. OHSA10 is a suggested option and will be compensated for if chosen. Employees will also receive on-the-job training and access to a staff persons who will be available to answer questions via phone or email.

Compensation:

• $14-$18 per hour
