What does it cost to attend?
The sooner you register, the less it costs. You might also qualify for special rates for students, emerging professionals, and for staff of non-profit organizations and government agencies. Please see the pricing page for details.

What is your refund policy?
We are unable to offer direct refunds. However, we are able to offer inability-to-attend event insurance through a third party, which is available for purchase at the time of registration. For more information, click here or contact registration@nesea.org or (413) 774-6051 ext. 19 with any questions.

How do I request a press pass?
Press passes are not available for BuildingEnergy NYC. If you are interested in a pre-event promotional partnership, please contact Jenny Goldberg, Marketing Manager, at jgoldberg@nesea.org by September 1st, 2018.

I need to register more than one person from my company. What should I do?
Registering multiple people on-line can be tricky, so it’s best if NESEA staff registers your group. Email Diane Robinson, Conference Registrar – drobinson@nesea.org – with attendees’ names and email addresses and whether you prefer for us to call you for credit card information or email you an invoice.

Do I have to pick which sessions I plan to attend prior to the conference?
No. With a conference pass you may attend any session you wish.

Can I get CEUs for attending?
We offer a mixture of credits: BPI, AIA LU/HSW and AIA LU.Each session page lists which CEUs are available for that session. PHIUS offers 5 CPHC CEUs for attending the full conference; you will be able to self-report using the verification code provided onsite. Attendees receive a certificate of attendance to self-report hours to other accrediting organizations.

Will there be food?
Yes. Your conference registration includes a light breakfast, sandwiches and salads for lunch, and both an opening and closing reception with hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine. Coffee and tea will be available all day as well. Our excellent caterers, Between The Bread, are back by popular demand.

What happens on Wednesday?
From 2pm-5pm on Wednesday, October 3, all conference pass holders can attend a sponsored workshop at the TKP, followed by the Opening Reception on the trade show floor from 5pm-7pm. Join us for hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks, and a room full of the smartest, most well-connected people. Non pass-holders can also purchase a la carte tickets to Wednesday's workshops and Opening Reception. See the pricing page for more information.
