Election: Cast Your Vote for NESEA's Board of Directors

As a current NESEA Member, you can vote for the professionals who represent you on the Board of Directors. This year, 9 NESEA Members are running for 4 open seats on the board. Our membership will elect 3 individuals, and the Board will then appoint 1 additional individual.

Info Session: NESEA's Workforce Development & Mentorship Initiatives

Join us for this informal lunchtime conversation to learn how you and your company can become involved with NESEA's efforts to support the next generation of building professionals. We’re designing two programs to connect the emerging workforce to our network of practitioners through mentorship, job shadowing, project visits, and more.

Deadline: Join the BuildingEnergy Pro Tour Advisory Committee

The request for BuildingEnergy Pro Tour proposals will be opening soon! We are currently recruiting a small group of NESEA Members to serve on the Pro Tour Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee will work together to vet proposals for Pro Tours and make recommendations for which projects to include in the 2022 schedule. By serving on this committee, you can help to shape the upcoming series, which we are planning as a mix of in-person and virtual events.

2: occurring or being done every five years

A lot can happen in five years. Children can be born and start attending school, U.S. presidents can commence and complete their terms, and communities can wrestle with and reinvent what it means to foster connection in a time of physical separation. Survey: NYSERDA Study on Non-Equipment Costs

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is conducting a study to understand more about non-equipment costs affecting energy efficiency projects in NY state. By providing your responses, you will help NYSERDA better understand the market and advance energy-efficient technologies in NY state.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until November 19. We are offering a $25 gift card to contractors who qualify and complete the survey. Information will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law; NYSERDA’s analysis will use only summary data and will not identify individual respondents or companies.

To complete the survey, please email to Mark Janett from the Cadmus Group, the firm conducting this study on behalf of NYSERDA, who will provide you with a survey link based on the type of work you complete. If you have questions about the validity of this research, please feel free to contact Tricia Gonzales from NYSERDA.
