BuildingEnergy Magazine Fall Issue: Integrated Design Process

Has an integrated design process (IDP) approach changed your work, your systems, or how you operate as a member of a project team? Then we want to hear from you! The theme of the Fall 2021 issue of BuildingEnergy magazine will be IDP. We're looking for proposals for articles that highlight process, challenges, and opportunities and the stories of interdisciplinary teams collaborating to create better projects.

There are 3 ways you can get involved with this issue of BuildingEnergy:

  1. Serve on the Editorial Committee: This committee of NESEA Members will work with staff to select content to feature. Please contact Florence MacGregor at fmacgregor@nesea.org to indicate your interest by today, June 2.
  2. Propose Content: Submit your ideas for inclusion in the magazine, which is curated, authored, and peer-reviewed by members of the NESEA community. Not every submission needs to focus exclusively on this year's theme, but proposals that can connect to IDP will be given priority in the review process. The Request for Proposals closes next Friday, June 11. Submit your proposal here (you must log in to access the form).
  3. Advertise: Advertising in BuildingEnergy magazine is a great way to share your products and services with thousands of high-performance building and renewable energy professionals across the Northeast and beyond. NESEA Business Members receive 15% off. Purchase an ad here or by contacting Ryan Dovenmuehler at ryand@emsconsultinginc.com.
