NESEA's BuildingEnergy NYC conference and trade show is a chance to immerse yourself in a full day of networking and intensive learning with your peers from the fields of design, construction, engineering, policy, finance, and beyond.

The NESEA community has always been a force for courageous, innovative change. The 2025 BuildingEnergy NYC conference will focus on how those of us in the building industries can continue to take effective action by incorporating resilience, adaptation, and mitigation strategies towards large-scale climate goals, while navigating an environment where regulatory and funding structures are unpredictable. We all must think critically and innovatively about the approaches that are feasible to continue driving impact in an uncertain national landscape, as well as how design and policy considerations themselves can look toward the future and center climate adaptation. The day will include:

  • 16 Accredited Conference Sessions
  • Trade show and Networking Opportunities
  • Informative Sponsored Sessions
  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Refreshments
  • An After Party Event to Celebrate the Conference and NESEA's 50th Anniversary

This unique event is designed by and for our community of practitioners, with sessions presenting real case studies and proven data, as well as showcasing innovative technologies and programs. You can browse this year's session lineup here.

If you are a building sustainability professional in any stage of your career, mark your calendar now, and plan to join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in New York City.
