Our weekend Foundation Fundamentals class will survey the many different types of foundations available in the construction industry. We will explore the traditional foundation delivery system, a few popular ICF foundation systems, a version of a prepcast foundation system and a new type of system just starting to be used called Helical Screw Pile System. We will discuss the differences, advantages/disadvantages, what you need to consider before choosing any foundation system and try to put a price on these different systems. Weather and circumstances permitting we will tour local construction sites that are at the foundation installation stage.

We will be hosting the 2020 session of this course online on May 16 & 17. This online seminar will meet from 9am-1pm each day.
