Offsite Wood Construction Tour in Québec, QC - September 21-24, 2026

The Québec Government Office is Boston is organizing an exploratory visit to Québec from September 21–24, designed to introduce a select group of general contractors and builders to Québec's leading offsite wood construction suppliers. 

Objectives of the visit:

• Meet Canadian suppliers capable of serving US projects
• Learn from Québec’s expertise in mass timber and offsite construction solutions
• Tour vendor manufacturing sites and visit relevant projects  
• Exchange with leaders from Québec’s sustainable and modular construction sectors
• Build relationships linked to future procurement and business development opportunities  

Brief agenda:

• Monday 9.21– arrival in Québec City 
• Tuesday 9.22 and Wednesday 9.23 – organized visits, lunch & dinner meetings in the Québec City, Beauce and Thetford-Mines regions 
• Thursday 9.24 – departures 

We will facilitate meetings, introductions, selected networking meals, and ground transportation for the group.  The hotel and most meals will be covered as well.  We will visit the following suppliers:

• Art Massif – glulam 
• RCM Modular – modular buildings
• Beaubois – custom architectural millwork
• American Structures – prefab wood walls, roof trusses and floor trusses
• Many others will most likely participate: Nordic, Peikko, Unicel, Québec Wood Export Bureau and their wood construction members etc.
