SENIOR ARCHITECT / FIRM LEADER

Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a current architectural license
• 12+ years of experience working in a professional office
• LEED or Passive House Consultant Certification (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel
• A working knowledge of Sketchup, Rhino, Bluebeam
• Passion for building science and sustainable technologies in the context of design excellence.
• Understanding of construction methods, building code, and zoning principles
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to company strategy
• Lead schematic, design development and construction documents in collaboration with project team members
• Manage teams, drawings and BIM modeling efforts in Revit
• Communicate visually and verbally with clients
• Coordinate project documentation, execution, construction plans and details, and consultant team while ensuring quality control and completion
• Review shop drawings, material samples and CDs for conformance with design
• Perform construction administration duties (e.g., RFIs, change orders, etc.) or manage team members who are directly running project CA
