Steve Klocke is a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Steven Winter Associates, Inc. specializing in LEED® for Homes and ENERGY STAR certifications for affordable multifamily buildings. Over the past seven years he has completed ratings for more than 1,200 dwelling units. This breadth of experience has provided an understanding of what works and what doesn’t in the design, construction and occupation of residential buildings. Steve is a LEED for Homes Green Rater, HERS Rater, BPI Building Analyst and Registered Architect. Steve has trained numerous groups of contractors, architects, developers, and mechanical system designers in best practices for high performance housing. He also contributed to the development of a City University of New York program to introduce construction technology students to residential energy modeling.
