Rheannon specializes in building science, decarbonization strategy, and mechanical systems for high-performance buildings. She works primarily on Passive House and decarbonization projects, integrating enclosure optimization with high-efficiency, all-electric mechanical systems to deliver low-carbon, resilient, and cost-effective solutions. Her work focuses on reducing operational energy use and embodied carbon while advancing healthy, durable, and sustainable material strategies.
Shortly after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a concentration in Building Science, Rheannon became a certified Building Performance Analyst. She has since completed the NESEA Net Zero Energy Design course instructed by Marc Rosenbaum and is a Certified Passive House Consultant. With more than 15 years of experience in the high-performance building sector, she has consulted on dozens of Net Zero, LEED, ENERGY STAR, LBC and Passive House projects. Rheannon has been attending NESEA for close to 18 years and was an early recipient of the Kate Goldstein Emerging Professional Award. She is passionate about accelerating the transition to low-energy, low-carbon buildings and is continually advocating for a more sustainable and resilient built environment.
