Phil Madnick is the manager of Consolidated Edison’s Multifamily Energy Efficiency Programs. These programs provide incentives to multifamily buildings in the 5 boroughs of New York City and Westchester County that undergo electric and/or gas saving projects.
Phil has more than 8 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry. He has worked as project manager on a number of major projects including boiler plant and control system upgrades at NYCHA’s Washington and Lexington Houses in Harlem and LED lighting upgrades at Spring Creek Towers in Starrett City, Brooklyn.
Phil joined Con Edison in 2010. Prior to joining Con Edison, Phil worked with various energy programs, conducting property audits and construction management. Phil received a B.S. in physics from CUNY Brooklyn College and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from New York University at Polytech. He is also an AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), and a GTI Registered Gas Distribution Professional. In 2014, Phil was nominated for Con Edison’s EDGE award for his work on designing the Multifamily BQ Adder Program to help address the utility’s need for load relief within a targeted Brooklyn-Queens network.
Mr. Madnick was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and recently relocated to Central New Jersey with his family. His personal hobbies include gardening and landscaping.
