Shalini is a Sustainability Intern at Thornton Tomasetti, a global Engineering & Design firm. She is passionate for the breadth of issues and opportunities surrounding sustainability and its impact in present day world with key expertise in Green Building Certification & Energy Modeling in Sustainable Built Environment.
She graduated from Purdue University with a Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering. Prior to working at Thornton Tomasetti, Shalini worked as a Graduate Administrative Assistant at the Office of Campus Master Planning & Sustainability involved with the review of LEED equivalency and certification of buildings on the Purdue campus. As a Summer Student at Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), she studied and explored Urban Design in the context of complex urban considerations.
Like many starry-eyed professionals in this field, fighting climate change is close to her heart.
