BuildingEnergy Boston Webinar: Transitioning to Low-Temperature Hydronic Heating

Local governments have adopted building emissions reduction policies, and building owners are pursuing their own goals to decarbonize. Challenges exist to electrify buildings that currently use high-temperature hot water due to limited options for heat pumps that are limited by physics to attain ideal efficiencies. Strategies to help facilitate the transition from high-temperature hot water to low-temperature hot water will be examined, with a focus on how to retrofit existing terminal equipment that currently depends on high-temperature hot water to satisfy building loads.

Webinar: New Incentives for Upstate Multifamily Affordable Housing

NYSERDA is anticipating launching a new upstate affordable multifamily incentive program in early Q1 2026. The program will provide incentives for technical assistance and energy efficiency and high efficiency building electrification upgrades, and replaces the upstate Affordable Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program (AMEEP), which closed to new applications on October 31, 2025.
