Responsibilities will include:
- Perform QC Inspections
- Travel throughout RI to inspect program rebated equipment to verify make and model and review installation
- Provide feedback to contractors as needed
- Respond to and provide ongoing support to resolve customer and contractor issues
- Provide HVAC Contractor Training and Support
- Train contractors on program testing procedures
- Develop and share resources to promote best installation practices
- Provide Technical Review
- Review contractor testing data
- Provide feedback to contractors
- Provide Customer Support and Education
- Educate customers about high efficiency HVAC equipment including heat pumps and heat pump water heaters
- Present at customer events and trainings
- Assist with applying for rebates and selecting systems and contractors
- Develop and share best practices for operating heat pumps
- Gather customer feedback regarding contractor installation and rebate processing
- Engage Industry Partners
- Travel to local manufacturers, distributors and HVAC companies to engage industry stakeholders with the program
- Identify and enroll HVAC companies in the program
- Attend and present at events and conferences
- Promote program rebates and the value of performance testing
Knowledge/Experience
- Residential HVAC installation background required, Service Manager experience preferred
- Proven ability to learn and process technical information from many different sources - new products, services and measures are regularly introduced into the program
- Strong interpersonal, writing, verbal communication, and reporting skills
- Detail oriented with an ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines both independently and in a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
