Kinetic Communities Consulting (M/WBE certified firm) works with energy and affordable housing industry partners to connect, educate, and simplify energy efficiency opportunities for under-represented communities. We want to help New Yorkers save money, feel safe, and live in a cleaner environment. We partner with local government, private sector entities, and nonprofit institutions to expand energy efficiency product integration in communities with the largest needs and educate building decision-makers on using energy efficiency as a tool to preserve housing.

Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt specializes in structural engineering, landscape architecture, and building envelope systems. Our firm has joined the Structural Engineers 2050 Commitment Program (SE 2050) to reduce and ultimately eliminate embodied carbon in our projects by 2050. Specialties Include:
- Review of thermal envelope details to ensure high performance and Energy Code compliance
- Diagnosing structural and thermal envelope building problems and developing solution strategies
- Designing with SIPs, ICFs, and frost-protected shallow foundations
- Identifying alternative structural systems with lower embodied carbon
- Quantification of the embodied carbon, or carbon burden, of building projects
- Building Envelope Commissioning (BECx)

We focus on bringing energy efficiency and healthy home techniques to our work, from small renovations to complete new houses. We are active members of NESEA, Bottom Lines Member, and Dan runs the original building science discussion group and co-wrote the Taunton Press book Pretty Good House: A Guide to Creating Better Homes. KOW Building Consultants is a trusted provider of building, construction, environmental, and sustainability consulting services. KOW specializes in Property Condition Reports, Plan & Cost Reviews, Construction Loan Monitoring, Phase 1 ESAs (Environmental Site Assessments), and Sustainability Services. Clients include banks, lenders, federal agencies, state housing agencies, city housing agencies, as well as owners and developers. The firm was founded in 1978 by Kenneth O. Wille, PE, and has grown to a team of 50+ team members. KOW has two headquarters, in Smithtown, NY, and NYC, with full-time inspectors in CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and DC.
