Carolyn Edsell-Vetter
Program Director
Cooperative Fund of The Northeast
Carolyn (they/she) is the Program Director for the Cooperative Fund of the Northeast (CFNE). They lead CFNE’s Learning Team in developing innovative programs to help under-represented communities to use collective enterprise to solve shared problems. Carolyn came to CFNE after 19 years with A Yard & A Half Landscaping near Boston, MA, where they led the company’s transition to worker-ownership and served as co-CEO from 2014-2019. While at A Yard & A Half, Carolyn was fortunate to have peer support from Building Energy Bottom Lines, and they are excited to be able to support BEAccess as a facilitator! The child of Cuban immigrants, Carolyn is particularly interested in using shared ownership models to create social and economic justice for immigrants, racialized communities, and others who face structural barriers to bringing businesses to scale. Carolyn and her partner are parents to two teens and two rescue pups, and grow food and medicine in their tiny urban garden in Medford, MA.
