Matthew is a skilled mechanical engineer who has been with 2RW since 2019. He has over 14 years of experience designing mechanical systems for high-performing buildings and managing successful engineering teams. Complementing his design and management role, Matthew applies his blend of leadership, knowledge, and communications skills to lead business development and client relationship management efforts for 2RW. As a senior mechanical engineer and project manager, Matthew builds effective teams and facilitates communication between engineers, clients, building owners, sub-consultants, and contractors. He is eager to help building owners define and achieve their energy efficiency and operational and maintenance goals. Taking a customer-centric approach, Matthew designs efficient yet cost-effective designs that are easily maintainable. With a background in design-build, he innately takes part in the construction administration phase and proactively communicates with contractors to solve unforeseen issues. Matthew understands the value of prioritizing early collaboration and frequent communication to deliver projects that meet clients’ goals, budgets, and timelines without sacrificing quality.
