Tyler is a 3rd year undergraduate at College of the Atlantic. He leads and mentors students and student leaders on campus as the lead resident advisor. He has served on multiple governance committees; campus planning and building, admissions, student activities, and student life. He volunteers in the community as a member of the Mount Desert Island YMCA board of directors, contributing to strategic planning and fundraising committees.
Tyler founded Downeast Energy Solutions in August of 2025, an energy auditing service-based company to help homeowners and businesses reduce energy costs and improve occupant comfort.
Tyler is a part of the 2025/26 Ecology Shifts fellowship program. Ecology Shifts brings leaders together from different organizations across the broad spectrum of environmental sectors in Maine. The fellowship is directed through the Land Peace Foundation (LPF), and is co-led by Sherri Mitchell, Weh'na Ha'mu Kwasset, an indigenous-rights attorney, as well as the executive director and founder of LPF. Dr. Darren Ranco, a board member of LPF and Chair of Native Studies at University of Maine is also a co-leader of the fellowship.
