Sarah began her engineering career as a mechanical designer before joining Petersen Engineering. She is committed to smart and sustainable mechanical system design and enjoys the collaboration and coordination between architects, engineers, owners and developers through the integrated design process. At Petersen Engineering she is responsible for overseeing multiple projects from design through construction including multi-family housing, water and wastewater treatment plants, commercial buildings, historic mill conversions and occupied rehabs.

Sarah received her BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Virginia, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Passive House Consultant.
