Shannon Pendleton, CPHC and sole proprietor of Sanderson Sustainable Design, began her practice in 2003 to pair sustainable building practices with place, community advocacy, and historical context. She is interested in multi-generational, non-toxic, affordable, low carbon building solutions. She specializes in single and multi-family team building, Passive House certification, reconstruction, and prefabrication. A founder of the Greater Philadelphia Passive House Association, and Passive House Community at Green Building United, she received her 5 Year Bachelors of Architecture from Temple University, Sustainable Practices certificate from Jefferson University, is an AIA Associate, and President of her local Aquetong Watershed Association. She co-hosts and presents regularly with Passive House Accelerator and Reimagine Buildings, and serves as Director of Materials for Source 2050's online high performance marketplace.
