Breaking the Design Bubble: Community Engagement and an Inclusive Process

To Build the Movement we must break open the design bubble to allow room for growth, expansion, inclusion, and - fundamentally - to strengthen human connections. To do this, we must diversify the profession, broaden our definition of “experts,” and ensure that design responses are socially equitable while drawing upon the vast knowledge and creativity inherent in communities. Join us for an interactive session unpacking barriers and opportunities for community engagement, learn how to uplift and include voices, and explore steps to incorporate inclusion into your next project.
