Consumer Pathways to Decarbonization

Consumers are the ultimate decision makers in home decarbonization. Transitioning the millions of existing residential buildings in the northeast to high-efficiency electric systems and implementing energy efficiency improvements requires a dramatic shift in consumer awareness, engagement, and long-term efficiency planning. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will present on research into the state of consumer awareness, introduce our consumer engagement campaign Clean Energy Lives Here, and discuss fundamental technical and implementation challenges facing consumers and industry.
