Micro Cogeneration Systems: Increasing Efficiency and Reducing Emissions
New York City buildings account for more than 50 percent of the city's greenhouse gas emissions. If the City and State are going to meet established greenhouse gas reduction goals, small or “micro” cogeneration, or combined heat and power (CHP) systems will need to play an integral role. This session will explore the benefits those systems provide and also the challenges of high upfront costs and space requirements.
