Goran Smiljic

Goran is the Director of the Inspectional Services Division for the City of Somerville MA. He previously served as Deputy City Engineer for the City of Utica NY as well as the Building Commissioner. He has extensive experience with building codes, with almost 20 years in the field, has over 20 code inspector certifications and is a certified inspector in the state of New York and Massachusetts. Certified by the ICC (International Code Council) as a Certified Building Official, Certified by The State of Massachusetts as an Inspector of Buildings/Building Commissioner, Certified by AFE (Associates for Facilities Engineering) as a CPMM –Certified Professional Maintenance Manager. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from SUNY IT.
