AP Sharma

AP Sharma is Director of VRV Product Marketing at Daikin Comfort Technologies, where he leads product marketing and market strategy for VRV (VRF) systems in North America. With more than 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry and extensive experience spanning product management, engineering, market development and product marketing, AP works at the intersection of building performance, electrification, energy efficiency and HVAC system design.

His work has focused on advancing VRV technology through the transition to lower-GWP A2L refrigerants, including the development and market introduction of R-32 VRV systems in North America. He works closely with engineering, sales, contractors, consulting engineers and other industry stakeholders to translate evolving refrigerant safety requirements and building-performance goals into practical system design approaches.

AP is particularly interested in how HVAC technology can support the changing needs of commercial buildings: from multifamily and hospitality to education and other highly zoned applications and in helping the industry navigate the technical and regulatory changes shaping the next generation of high-performance buildings.
