Alex MacLean

Alex holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and began his career in construction before transitioning into the building science field with a focus on modeling retrofit efficiency upgrades across both residential and commercial buildings. He began his work with Aeroseal as an AeroBarrier installer working on construction job sites with multifamily and other projects. Alex currently works in business development, sales, and construction site technical assistance, where his primary focus is the deployment and growth of AeroBarrier within general construction and Passive House–aligned applications for large-scale multifamily and other developments. He enjoys working closely with project teams from the initial design phase through in-field, in-process development to help ensure constructability, performance, and successful project outcomes.
