Lara Caballero

Lara Caballero has over 15 years of experience in Europe and the United States working across a broad range of building typologies, with expertise in high-performance buildings. Ms. Caballero’s work includes projects ranging from high-performance retrofits of historic brownstones and commercial projects to ground-up high-rise affordable and supportive housing developments.

As an Associate at MAP, Ms. Caballero manages several of the firm’s significant senior and specialized housing projects, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Their current work includes construction management for a new 422-unit affordable and supportive housing building pursuing PHIUS certification, as well as design for two new high-rise towers that will provide a total of 435 affordable and supportive units. They also led construction administration for two recently completed sustainable senior residences, one of which was designed to Passive House standards.
