PE, MSME
Bart Bales PE MSME of Bales Energy Associates, provides design and advising on HVAC systems and especially on heat pumps. The majority of Bart's current work involves advising and design on heat pump applications of all kinds.
In recognition of the critical importance of heating systems in high-performance energy-efficient , ‘green” buildings, Bart Bales developed and teaches the following one-day workshops for architects and engineers over an 8-state region in the Northeast and as nationally available live, interactive webinars:
Air-Source Heat Pumps & Energy Recovery Ventilators
Air-Source Heat Pumps, Mini-Splits and Heat Pump Water Heaters
Cold-Climate Heat Pumps, Pellet Boilers, & Other Renewable Thermal Heating Systems High-Performance, Energy-Efficient ‘Green Heating’ Systems
Air-Source Heat Pumps, Mini-Splits and Heat Pump Water Heaters
With regard to heat pumps, Bales Energy Associates provides mini-consults and design services for residential heat pump projects, as well as commercial projects..
For large buildings and facilities, Bales Energy Associates provides energy analysis, design, and implementation of high- performance, energy-efficient and renewable energy systems with an emphasis on a “whole-systems”, building science-based approach. His studies include detailed investigations and recommendations for temperature controls and building automation system optimization and improvement.
Bales Energy Associates provides engineering services for high-performance heating systems, heat pump and heat recovery systems; whole building energy analyses; high-performance mechanical design; and solar energy systems analysis & design services. Bart is the principal of Bales Energy Associates & has effectively delivered energy engineering & HVAC design services for over twenty-five years.
Bart Bales is a registered professional mechanical engineer in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Vermont. Energy analysis experience and expertise include comprehensive facility energy audits and feasibility studies for energy efficiency measures; combined heat and power (cogeneration) systems, solar electric, solar thermal, and windpower systems.
