Colin Richardson

Colin Richardson is an engineer turned estimator with a passion for high-performance, data-driven construction. At Haycon, he leads pre-construction efforts across Boston-area multifamily Passive House projects, helping design teams understand and optimize cost, performance, and constructability on both occupied renovation projects and ground up new builds.

With a background in civil engineering, stormwater management and hydrological modeling, Colin brings a systems-thinking approach to building design—balancing environmental performance with practical delivery. He integrates digital modeling, data analysis, and computational tools to improve cost certainty and design decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Colin holds a B.S. in Environmental Resources Engineering from SUNY-ESF and is a Phius Certified Builder (CPHB).
