Christopher Bland

Christopher Bland is a public health and environmental scientist with over 10 years of experience in the field. Christopher coordinates the Region 2 Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU), and the New York State Children’s Environmental Health Centers (NYSCHECK). Christopher’s primary day-to-day role is coordinating the center’s telehealth medicine program for pediatric asthma patients. He counsels caregivers of children with asthma on how to manage asthma, reduce environmental triggers, and minimize its impact on quality of life. He supports the work of the Centers by helping to evaluate program initiatives, contributes to current scientific literature through his publications, and integrate public health education to neighboring communities.
