Colleen Burns

Colleen Burns leads the outreach and delivery of Urban Green Council’s industry-leading trainings, including New York energy code training, specialized heat pump courses, and the flagship GPRO (Green Professional) trainings for building professionals nationwide. She previously worked at Green Amendments For The Generations, where she organized trainings for community members and legislators to advance constitutional protections for environmental rights. Colleen holds a B.A. in Communication and Culture with a minor in Environmental Studies from Fordham University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at NYU Wagner.
