Darrell Soho

Darrell is the director of client relations, head of materials, and an owner at Trillium Architects Co-operative. Prior to joining Trillium, Darrell brought his BA in interior design to bear in sales and project management roles in commercial, residential, and hospitality design projects. His work in interiors has given him an integral understanding of how design affects a human being’s experience in a given space.

Darrell is passionate about working with only non-toxic materials and has extensive knowledge of, and experience using, Declare-labeled and Red-List-free products. He brings this passion to Trillium every day when researching and choosing project materials and has bolstered Trillium’s responsible material choices using his deep knowledge of material sourcing with respect to carbon impact, product efficacy, ethical supply chains, occupant health, and aesthetics.

Darrell has helped guide projects through LEED and Energy Star certifications and, as a former International Well Building Institute WELL-AP, has also taken part in WELL-certified projects.
