Emily Basham is a Senior Associate with the Connecticut Green Bank. She works across many sectors in the organization to strategize new partnership opportunities as well as manage outreach campaigns with current partners around solar and energy efficiency measures. Emily manages the Solar for All campaigns for the Green Bank, which has brought solar and energy efficiency services to over 2,000 low-income families across the state in 3.5 years, pushing Connecticut to become a parity state in solar deployment. Emily led the organization’s participation in the SolSmart program, which provided technical assistance to streamline local solar permitting processes. Emily has extensive experience engaging various stakeholders around solar soft cost issues, solar training for fire and code officials, and municipal certification programs. Prior to joining the Green Bank, Emily focused on member and voter engagement through non-profits such as the League of Conservation Voters as well as various political campaigns. Emily holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and Political Science from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
