Erik joined The Green Engineer, Inc in 2006. A Principal in Charge/Senior Project Manager at The Green Engineer, Inc, Erik’s expertise is in running LEED charrettes, preparing energy master plans and assisting owners, architects, contractors and consultants in the LEED documentation and certification process. Erik has the designation of LEED AP Building Design + Construction from the US Green Building Council. Erik has acted as the LEED Project Manager or Administrator for 40 LEED certified projects with another 20+ pursuing certification. He was a founding member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the USGBC’s Emerging Green Builders (Emerging Professionals) where he acted as Co-Chair in 2008. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Chapter of the USGBC in 2009-2011 and again from 2013-2014. Erik has guest lectured at MIT, the Wentworth Institute of Technology and taught courses and studios in the Sustainable Design and Building Technology department at the Boston Architectural College.
