H.G. Chissell is the Founder and CEO of Advanced Energy Agency and Advanced Energy Group, a multi-city stakeholder platform that facilitates cross-sector engagement among its members and guests. AEG's mission is to support leadership and diverse stakeholder engagement to expedite the needed energy transformation of our cities.

AEG is a stakeholder member sponsored organization with chapters in Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York City and Washington D.C. Members include utilities, city governments, hospitals, universities and more. Advanced Energy Agency provides consulting, market strategy, events and media services.

Previously, H.G. Chissell served as Chief Commercial Officer of GridMarket and Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Viridity Energy, a software/service firm focused on virtual power generation and advanced energy optimization. Prior to Viridity Energy, Mr. Chissell led an energy strategy team at Gap International, a global consulting firm specializing in high-impact leadership.

Mr. Chissell graduated from Swarthmore College, studied architecture at Drexel University and received his accreditation as a LEED AP. He began his commercial career at RDLA, a healthcare architecture firm in Philadelphia.
